Orca Southern Resident Population Giving Birth To More Males Than Females

Scientists have found that the Endangered Southern Resident Orca population that lives near Washington State waters have been undergoing a bit of a baby boom. Great for them; however, some scientists are concerned that the baby sex is skewed towards males rather than a 50/50 males/female divide. Other scientists say that the occurrence is just random and the population will be fine.
