Green Sea Turtles have a rough life. The odds of a hatchling making it to adulthood is not very good. 1-2 Sea Turtles will make it to adulthood from a nest of 250 eggs (approximately). Researchers want to learn as much as possible about these turtles to find out where they go during the different parts of their lives. Satellite tags are used to track adults, but where do the hatchlings go after that long trek from the nest to their beach? New, tiny tags were mounted to baby Green Sea Turtles found out that a majority of the turtles they tagged hung out in the Sargasso Sea.
